The house is set back from a quiet country road in rural county Wexford, Ireland. It is the perfect place for a large group or extended family to enjoy a holiday away from it all. With plenty of space for a large group to enjoy fun and games in the sunshine, the front garden at Millknock Farm Self-Catering includes a large lawn with a soccer goal for five-a-side kickabouts (above). The child friendly grounds of the house are fully enclosed with a combination of hedging and fencing, including a gate.

Swings and a slide (left) are also provided in the garden for children to enjoy. A large, partially enclosed patio area (above) for all of the family to enjoy is located beside the house. The patio has an outdoor light, outdoor sockets, and contains picnic benches and a stone built stand suitable for a disposable bar-b-q.

Beside the patio is a large shed with a padlock on the door which can be used to securely store fishing gear, bikes, or anything else you wish to bring with you.

Parking at Millknock FarmThe front of the house also features a large paved area (right) with ample parking for a large group.The back yard at the house contains planters with herbs for you to enjoy on your holidays, including oregano and chives (below), as well as parsley and thyme. A rosemary bush can also be found in the garden.

Anybody that rents the house for a holiday from May to October will have to share the property with the housemartins that nest in the eaves of the house every year (below left). Amongst the other birds you might see in the garden while staying here are blackbirds, pigeons, doves, pheasants (below right), robins, swallows, great tits, blue tits and more. Rabbits and hares are also common sights in the garden, along with badgers (if you’re an early riser!).
